Splash in the Grove is 2 weeks away, plenty of spots open, please grab a spot and help us run the meet, it’s a lot of fun for the kids and the perfect way to start the season and shake off nerves!!

SGSC updates - volunteers signups, meet commitment form and Splash in the Grove
Team,
As promised at parents meeting, I am attaching the updated meet schedule following the league meeting last week (only first meet has changed), link to meet commitment form, volunteer sign ups for Splash in the Grove and first two meets and Splash in the Grove information.
Meet commitment form CLICK HERE- due date 6/2 – one form per swimmer
Volunteer signups CLICK HERE- please sign up for up to 3 spots (lineup parent counts as 2 spots). We need all the help we can get with Splash in the Grove – lots of positions to choose from. The proceeds from this 2nd edition of the invitational will be used to help support the Sprenkle family while their daughter Irelyn battles kidney cancer. Please consider attending and helping run the meet!

Swimmers may enter a maximum of 4 individual events and 2 relays. Relays will be mixed and coaches will determine those. There will be a high point trophy award for each age group, boys and girls. Only individual event scoring counts toward the high point award. $5 per event, relays will be at no charge; drop off payment at the pool in the invitational folder (black box) or Zelle to sgswimclub@gmail.com

The summer Spiritwear store is open. Your shopping window is short so that we can get your items in time to enjoy them for the summer season. So please place your orders ASAP as we will not reopen the store. The store closes May 12th!! Please use the attached link.

We just had THE LOWEST number of parents since 2017 attending the meeting today, which is a bit disappointing given that we have 86 swimmers registered. Thank you to those attending and to those that emailed that they can’t make it.

Reminder parents meeting today at the pool!

A quick reminder that we have our parents meeting today at the pool – 5:30pm, in the classroom at the shallow end of pool. New and returning parents from either winter or summer, join us to learn all the ins and outs of swimming or to refresh on changes we made from last summer.
No practice tomorrow 5/3 as noted in our previous email.
