Hello Team,
If you missed team pictures last night & would like to schedule a make up please reach out directly to Orendorff Studios. You can call/text 717-430-1296 or email studio@orendorffstudios.com by NOVEMBER 20, 2023.
Even if you are not purchasing individual photos, if they have their photo taken your child will still be included in the team photo. We’d like to have the whole team in the picture! Our spiritwear order has arrived! Items will be available for pick up this week – tonight (Tuesday) from 6:15 – 6:45 and tomorrow (Wednesday) from 5:15-5:30. Please check the Facebook page as we add additional pick up times. Please do not ask coaches for items! We will have a board member available before/after several practices to get your items.
Holiday Spiritwear Store is OPEN. The store closes 11/26/23 at 11:59 pm We will be unable to extend the store – no exceptions so that those who order can receive their items before the holidays. So get your shopping done now!

We will be reopening our spiritwear store this week for the holidays! There are many different items that were not available at the start of the season so keep an eye out for the next email containing the link!

Hello Team-
Here are the details you need for our upcoming meet against Dallastown.
Location:
Dallastown High School Natatorium
700 New School Lane
Dallastown, PA 17313
Swimmer report time: 7:35 AM
Swimmer Warm-up: 7:45-8:15 AM
Please make sure each swimmer has their swim cap, goggles, towel, and water bottle. Those items should be marked with names.
All swimmers will be seated on deck with the team. We ask that they do not sit in the spectator area during the meet, as we are unable to locate and line them up for events. Swimmers are not to leave until the conclusion of the meet. Even if their events are finished prior, they could still be needed for a last-minute change to a lineup.
Please remind your swimmer that the use of electronics, cell phones, iPads, etc. are NOT permitted during the meet. We feel it is important for our swimmers to have a screen-free swim team experience.
Reminder of a severe nut allergy. We kindly ask the parents do not send any snacks during swim meets that contain any traces of nuts. Our goal is to create a safe place for all swimmers.
IMPORTANT: If your swimmer cannot make it to the meet Saturday, please let us know ASAP so we can redo the lineup. A lot of kids are swimming relays, so 3 other kids are going to be affected if one swimmer does not show up for the meet. Please email as soon as you know your swimmer cannot make it.

Pictures are scheduled for Monday, November 13. The photographer will be at the pool starting at 4:30. Please see attached link~~ to order pictures.

A couple of updates as we approach our FIRST MEET of the Winter season!! We do not have yet details as far as report time from host team, we will email again later in the week.
Meanwhile, there are still spots left on the volunteer signups for this Saturday… Grab your spot HERE !!
I also released the signups for 12/9 home meet so you can secure your spot at that meet as well. Since we switched meets after the schedule was released, the volunteers for 12/2, please let me know if you are still available for the new date of 1/13/24. If you are not, email directly to the club to be removed, sgswimclub@gmail.com
Personalized swim caps arrived, they will be distributed this week – please see Christie Searle on Tuesday and Thursday; and one of our other board members will help on Wednesday.
This week level 1 will practice using the starter so they can get used to the sound for the upcoming meet, especially the new swimmers. We are working on prepping for a possible mock meet during level 2 practice on Thursday – more details to follow. We typically go over the various volunteers positions, setting up the timing table etc.
November calendar is attached here as well as the psych sheets for Dover Pentathlon on Sunday for those of you entered. Dover also asked for help with volunteers – SIGNUP HERE . Volunteers get free admission.
